THE SYSTEM IN PRACTICE
A surface power cable affects vehicle handling. Maxi Power Tanks addresses this by placing the energy reserve onboard and considering shape, buoyancy and ease of servicing together.
Battery packs slide onto a dedicated rail. The modular structure helps organise replacement and assess battery developments alongside the ROV’s balance.

Installation and handling of dedicated modules.
Attention to hydrodynamics, maintenance and vehicle balance.
CONFIGURATIONS, EQUIPMENT AND DATA
Maxi Carbon Fiber Tanks bring energy onboard the ROV, avoiding a dedicated high-voltage surface cable. The solution was developed to reduce the drag, stiffness and logistical constraints of a large power cable.
Our carbon-fibre tanks are tested for operation down to 500 m and provide up to 10 hours of work in the specified configuration. Adaptation to other mini-ROVs is assessed against structure, buoyancy and electrical systems.
