Request informationTHE SYSTEM IN PRACTICE
The T200 uses a brushless motor designed to operate in water. Its flooded construction and component materials distinguish it from a conventional motor housed in a dry enclosure.
Operation requires a compatible electronic speed controller. The number, position and rotation direction of the propellers determine vehicle movement; the thrust of one thruster is not the thrust of the entire configuration.
Electric actuation controlled through an ESC.
Propeller selected according to its position on the vehicle.
Power supply, controllers and wiring matched to the load.
CONFIGURATIONS, EQUIPMENT AND DATA
T200 is a brushless thruster for ROVs, AUVs and robotic surface vehicles, used in both experimental and professional projects. Its UV-resistant polycarbonate body and epoxy-protected core are designed for the marine environment.
Plastic bearings replace steel ones; other components use aluminium or stainless steel. The design has no air- or oil-filled cavities: water flows through the motor and helps cool it. The propeller and nozzle work together to produce thrust.
The three motor wires connect to a compatible brushless ESC. Control can use RC radio, microcontrollers and platforms such as Arduino, ArduPilot, Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone. Clockwise and counter-clockwise propellers are available for torque compensation.
These data apply to the specified thruster and ESC configuration. We confirm the revision supplied: voltage, current and power figures must not be transferred to other versions.
