THE SYSTEM IN PRACTICE
T500 expands the propulsion range for vehicles with requirements beyond mini-ROVs. In the reference configuration it delivers 16.1 kgf at 24 V, drawing around one kilowatt at maximum power.
Integration requires checking energy reserves, controllers, protection, cables and mechanical mounts. Increasing installed power does not automatically improve endurance or performance in every direction.
Propulsion assessed according to vehicle mass and mission.
Controller and power distribution sized together.
Check loads and clearance around the thruster.
CONFIGURATIONS, EQUIPMENT AND DATA
T500 is offered for ROVs and other underwater vehicles requiring more thrust. Its self-lubricating design needs little maintenance; overlap between the propeller, base and tail cone limits the entry of particles, sand and vegetation into sensitive parts.
| Example supply voltage | 24 V |
|---|---|
| Thrust in the reference configuration | 16.1 kgf |
| Example power | Just over 1 kW |
| Comparison with T200 at 16 V | Comparable consumption to T200 and 70% higher output under the stated comparison conditions |
| ESC at 24 V | Basic ESC 500 recommended |
| Other configurations | Blue Robotics Basic ESC where voltage and current draw are compatible |
