THE SYSTEM IN PRACTICE

How it fits
your work.

Mark V exchanges synchronisation information over Ethernet. The surface receiver and ROV-mounted unit therefore require the specified network connection: power alone is not enough.

Not needing GNSS for clock synchronisation does not remove the need for a surface reference to obtain geographic coordinates. Omnitrack can combine this reference and the acoustic system in a complete configuration.

01

Adaptive update rate

From 1 to 5 Hz depending on distance and signal attenuation, not a guaranteed constant rate.

02

Network between both ends

Check switches, power and vehicle connectivity.

03

Geographic reference

Surface position and heading remain part of the geolocation system.
