THE SYSTEM IN PRACTICE

How it fits
your work.

SonarView is the display environment for Cerulean sonars. Functions vary by instrument: acoustic images, multibeam surveys and Omniscan 3D reconstructions do not produce the same type of data.

Documented Surveyor functions include live acquisition, mission playback and point clouds exportable as CSV. Compatibility and formats must be checked for each device and version: the manufacturer lists Surveyor GSF export as beta.

SonarView and Polyedrica Camera Deck have different roles: the former handles sonar data, the latter video and SORS camera controls. Their presence at the same station does not imply that software integration has already been implemented.

During the mission

Monitor data acquired by supported sensors.

02

After the survey

Playback and export formats according to device.

03

Desktop or BlueOS

Application for Windows, macOS and Linux; BlueOS integration according to configuration.

Cerulean Friday Harbor Docks demonstration dataset in SonarView. The official image shows OS3D Proto3 data and a beta version: it illustrates the type of result, not a SORS mission or qualification of the proposed AIO configuration.
